On November 7, the Speaker of the RA National Assembly Galust Sahakyan received the members of the Delegation who had arrived in Armenia to take part in the International Forum organized by Confucius Institute of Yerevan Valery Brusov State University of Linguistics and Social Sciences. The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People’s Republic of China (PRC) to our country Tian Erlong also attended the meeting.

Welcoming the guests, Galust Sahakyan highlighted the organization of such forums, which can have a significant role for the exchange of experience. In the word of the Head of the parliament the implementation of the educational programmes and the availability of the schools educating well-informed generation is prior for the RA NA. In this context he added: “To have a high qualified educational system is important for our nation: if there are leading schools in the country, hence the state is powerful.”

Thanking the Head of the parliament on behalf of the Delegation for the reception, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the PRC to Armenia Tian Erlong has noted that the Armenian-Chinese relations are at high level and expressed hope that the holding of the Forum will further deepen the Armenian-Chinese educational cooperation.
