On April 23 in the museum of Baghramyan village literary-musical event was held on the initiative of the Committee on Cultural issues of RPA Armavir Youth Organization. It was dedicated to the 101st anniversary of the Armenian Genocide.
The event was attended by the Adviser to the Governor of Armavir region Manuk Simonyan, who read the inspiring message of the Governor Ashot Ghahramanyan, underlining the importance and role of such events in the international recognition of the Armenian Genocide.
The Head of RPA Armavir Youth Organization called not to emphasize our hard path through cry and sorrow, but to make the international community recognize the Armenian Genocide through revenge, struggle and radical steps.
The speech was followed by the screening and discussion of the film «The cut» by the Turkish director Fatih Akin.
At the end of the event a candle-lighting ceremony was held in memory of the victims of the Armenian Genocide.
