«Gifts of Artsakh» expo opens in Yerevan

Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan met with the delegation headed by the Vice Prime Minister of Nagorno-Karabakh Republic Arthur Aghabekyan. Stressing particular importance of tight cooperation between the capitals of the two states and between Karabakh districts and administrative districts of Yerevan, Yerevan Mayor said that the projects were carried out successfully and in accordance with the schedule.
«The cooperation between Yerevan and Stepanakert and Karabakh districts is at the high level. Every month our delegations and working groups visit NKR. Only last year there were 60 visits to NKR and 40 reciprocal visits of Artsakh delegations to Yerevan. Within the scope of this cooperation we implement various projects and their directions are increasingly expanding», said the Mayor.
Referring to the exposition «Gifts of Artsakh» to be held in Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan noted that Yerevan Municipality is ready to show assistance within its powers in the organization of the event.
«We greet the idea of holding «Gifts of Artsakh» expo in Yerevan and are ready to show any assistance. I am sure that the exposition will give its positive results and will be of long-term character helping producers from Artsakh and promoting selling Artsakh production in Yerevan», said the Mayor of the capital.
Expressing gratitude for warm welcome NKR Vice Prime Minister Arthur Aghabekyan also expressed his satisfaction with the programs carried out between the two capitals and stressed that significant results had been achieved in all spheres of cooperation.
«The success and importance of cooperation between Yerevan and Stepanakert are obvious for each resident of Artsakh. And your personal contribution in this issue is significant, Mister Mayor. Be sure that we highly appreciate the permanent willingness and support shown by Yerevn», said Arthur Aghabekyan.
Outlining the importance of holding «Gifts of Artsakh» expo in Yerevan the Vice Prime Minister of NKR thanked Yerevan Mayor for supporting the initiative.
«The organization of the expo in Yerevan is a good opportunity for Artsakh producers to present their production. I am sure that from the point of view of strengthening bilateral ties this event will become a new start for cooperation promoting economical development of Artsakh», said NKR Vice Prime Minister.
During the meeting the head of Social Welfare Department of Yerevan Municipality Ruzanna Zakaryan, by the NKR President decree was awarded with «Gratitude» medal for active assistance in the realization of social and economical programs and contribution to strengthening the ties between the army and society.
The «Gifts of Artsakh» expo opens on April 2, in the foyer of Yerevan City Hall.
