Forum of Young Parliamentarians of CIS countries has been held recently in Sochi. Young representatives of various parliamentary forces of CIS countries participated in the forum. Varduhi Sargsyan represented RPA Youth Organization. The goal of the forum was to create an opportunity for exchange of experiences between young parliamentarians of CIS countries.
Within the frameworks of the program there was held a plenary session, during which current global regional problems and opportunities were represented.
Later there were held discussions in the following 5 thematic groups: “Healthy youth – healthy country”, “Youth politics as a strategic component of state governance”, “Youth organizations as an effective tool for youth social and political activeness”, “Youth involvement in socio-economic development of the region”, “The Soviet people's victory in the Great Patriotic War”.
At the end of the forum there was adopted a resolution on the joint solution of current issues of regional co-operation.
