 The 7th International Conference of young political scientists on “Historical and cultural unity of the peoples of the CIS countries” has been recently held in Moscow. It was organized by the Russian Institute for Strategic Studies. 22 young people from Armenia, Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Moldova participated in the conference. Aleksan Hovhannisyan represented RPA Youth Organization.
Within the frameworks of the program the participants attended lectures on “Russia as a civilized republic”, “The issues of formation of the Eurasian value system for the societies of the post-Soviet countries”, “National security issues of CIS countries. Crisis in Ukraine”, “The role of Moldova in the EU policy”. Then seminars were held on obsticals of formation of the Euroasian Economic Union, influence of sunctions on the Russian Federation, russian economic policy. It was discussed the topic of islamism as a challenge of a modern republic and the situation in the euroasian region.
At the course of the program the participants made reports, particularly the Member of RPA Youth Organization Aleksan Hovhannisyan made a report on “Bases of co-operation between member countries of the Euroasian Economic Union”. It will be published in the journal of the organizer research institute.
Within the frameworks of the program the participants visited several historical and cultural institutions of Moscow.
At the end of the program the participants were awarded certificates.
