 RPA Women’s Council organizes various traditional events dedicated to the Children’s Defense Day within the frameworks of a one-week program. Approximately 1200 pupils from 60 Yerevan schools, accompanied with their teachers and parents, visited the National Gallery of Armenia, the History Museum of Armenia, the Yerevan History Museum, Yeghishe Charents House-Museum, Hovhannes Tumanyan Museum. In the National Gallery of Armenia and the Yerevan History Museum the children got familiarized with the exhibits of the international art, as well as with our historical-cultural values. At Hovhannes Tumanyan Museum the children got familiarized with the biography and activity of the Armenian writer. At Yeghishe Charents House-Museum the daughter of Egishe Charents, Anahit Charents met the children and told them memoirs about the writer.
