 On March 27 at the Parliament of Georgia the 3rd Forum of Young Politicians of the South Caucasus and Ukraine was launched by the initiative of the Netherlands Institute for Multiparty Democracy. The representative of the Netherlands Institute in the South Caucasus Mr. Levan Tsutskiridze, the Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to Georgia and Armenia Stefan Fule made welcoming remarks at the official opening ceremony. Mr. Fule spoke about the conflicts of Ukraine and the countries of the South Caucasus, opportunities and challenges of co-operation.
The program was opened by the member of RPA Youth Organization Hayk Mamijanyan, who in his speech attached importance to the co-operation between the main political parties of the South Caucasus, spoke about the challenges, offering solutions. Once again he emphasized the willingness of the Armenian side for the discussions on the regional co-operation.
The forum will include two plenary sessions and debates in 6 thematic working groups.
It should be mentioned that the main goal of the forum is to study the challenges, achievements of the democratization process in the region and to suggest effective models of co-operation.
