 In the National Assembly a festive reception was organized on the occasion of March 8, where the female deputies of the parliament were invited. The NA Speaker Galust Sahakyan kindly congratulated the female parliamentarians on the occasion of the International Women’s Day. In his word, he has noted that the Armenians worship mothers, and the role of the Armenian woman, Armenian mother is undeniable in the Armenian family.

Galust Sahakyan also highlighted the women’s role in the Armenian parliament, as their presence contributes to the formation of the atmosphere of warmth, easiness and tolerance.

Congratulating once again the women, the NA President has presented bouquets to them and wished them happiness in their families, welfare and optimism.
