Mayor Taron Margaryan: “Our aim is not only to draw up reports, it’s important to prevent a violation and eliminate its causes”

 During the regular working conference Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan was reported that 84 administrative reports had been drawn up the previous week for waste removal in undetermined places. The Mayor instructed to carry on the activities setting special control in the areas adjacent to dustbins as well as over the locations where rubbish is piled.
“Our aim is not only to draw up reports. It’s important to prevent the violation and eliminate its causes. It’s not less important to carry out explanatory activities with violators particularly stressing the fact that our aim is not to fine but to keep our city clean. Jointly with the Road Police take measures to eliminate this vicious occurrence”, stressed Taron Margaryan.
Referring to illegal street trade prevention the head of the Department of trade and Services reported that the previous week 10 reports on administrative violations had been drawn up.
The head of the Department of Urban Development and Land Control reported that the previous week 5 cases of illegal construction had been revealed as a result of inspections. In 4 locations dismantling had been carried out. All the persons in charge were instructed by the Mayor of Yerevan to be more consistent and carry on systematic control in this regard.
Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan instructed to study the correspondence of advertisement boards in the capital to the established standards.
Concerning the phone calls received by the hot lines functioning in corresponding subdivisions of the Municipality of Yerevan and in the staffs of the heads of the administrative districts it was reported that the previous week 164 and 37 calls had been received correspondingly. It was reported that 168 raised issue got corresponding solutions, the rest 33 ones are being processed.
It was also instructed to start the preparations for landscaping organization in the capital.
