Hovik Abrahamyan Welcomes Turkmenistan Deputy Prime Minister

 Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan received Deputy Prime Minister of Turkmenistan, Armenian-Turkmen intergovernmental commission co-chair Sapardurdy Toyliev.

Pleased with the current status of the Armenian-Turkmen relationship, both sides expressed confidence that the two governments’ joint efforts will give new impetus to economic cooperation.

Prime Minister Abrahamyan and Deputy Prime Minister Sapardurdy Toyliev attached special importance to the proceedings of the Armenian-Turkmen intergovernmental commission, noting that new prospects for cooperation had been outlined during the sitting.

The interlocutors expressed confidence that the results will be seen as early as in 2015. At the same time, it was emphasized that all those undertakings and agreements reached at the previous commission sitting had been completed and brought to life.

Noting that there is great potential for increased trade turnover between the two countries, Hovik Abrahamyan and Sapardurdy Toyliev stressed the need to boost trade and economic cooperation through specific steps and joint business forums.

Prime Minister Abrahamyan and the Deputy Prime Minister of Turkmenistan discussed some aspects of bilateral cooperation in a number of areas.
