 At the Yegishe Charents house-museum the RPA 12th annual recitation contest-festival named “Egishe Charents”was held, which was dedicated to the immortal memory of writers killed during the Armenian Genocide in 1915. The contest-festival was organized by the Yegishe Charents house-museum, RPA Women’s Council and Department of General Education of Yerevan Municipality Staff. “Biayna” sociօ-cultural charitable foundation also supported the festival.
There were 5 special prizes: “Ruben Sevak”, “Daniel Varujan”, “Siamanto”, “Grigor Zohrap”, “Smbat Byurat” and 6 incentive awards.
RPA Women’s Council prepared beautiful and valuable presents not only for 11 winners, but also for all 20 participants of the 3rd round. The prizes were handed over by the NA Vice-President, Chairman of RPA Women’s Council Hermine Naghdalyan, Deputy Head of the Department of General Education of Yerevan Municipality Silva Achoyan, Director of the Yegishe Charents House-Museum Lilit Hakobyan.
The NA RA Vice-President, Chairman of RPA Women’s Council Hermine Naghdalyan welcoming and congratulating the winners, as well as teachers and parents, stressed the educational, pedagogical meaning of the contest-festival.
The museum has always felt the support by RPA Women’s Council in the implementation of their programs. And we express our gratitude especially to the Chairman of RPA Women’s Council Hermine Naghdalyan.
