 On October 22-24 RPA Women’s Council hosted the Delegation of the All-China Women’s Federation.
The guests, who where in Armenia for a three-day working visit, not only got familiarized with the activities and programs of RPA Women’s Council, but also met with the members of Council, Chairmen and members of Women’s Council of Yerevan and regions.
The guests accompanied with the Chairman of RPA Women’s Council, NA Vice-President Hermineh Naghdalyan laid flowers at the Memorial of the Armenian Genocide victims, visited the Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute, where they got acquainted with the documents confirming the Armenian Genocide.
At the head of Hermineh Naghdalyan they visited Nor-Nork territorial organization, met with the members of the Women’s Council, visited the Centre of Culture of Nor Nork, where they attended the exhibition of women’s hand-made works, concert dedicated to the Armenian-Chinese friendship. Then they visited “Saint Gregory the Illuminator” maternity hospital, got acquainted with the works of the hospital.
Accompanied with the members of RPA Board they visited Matenadaran, got acquainted with the Literature of the Armenian people, ancient manuscripts and writings, as well as visited Garni, Geghard.
The guests also visited Gegharkunik territorial organization, got acquainted with the works of the territorial women’s councils and discussed the issue of co-operation and possible joint projects. The issue of signing memorandum on co-operation between RPA Women’s Council and All-China Women’s Federation, as well as the issue of co-operation between the women’s territorial organization were discussed.
They sailed by “Kilikia” historical vessel, visited Saint Karapet church.
The head of the delegation Yu Hongqiu, impressed by three-day works, expressed her gratitude to the Chairman of RPA Women’s Council Hermineh Naghdalyan for a warm welcome, joint work, getting acquainted with the history and culture of the Armenian people, further joint programs and co-operation.
