 To familiarize himself with the process of reconstruction of the garden located in Nalbandyan-Hanrapetutyan segment of Main avenue Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan visited the building site. The recreation zone with the total area of 13200 lin m is being improved within the frames of complex improvement program of 2014. In a few days the area is going to be put into operation. Presenting the details of the work the persons in charge reported the Mayor that in accordance with the draft the area of 5976 sq m had been paved with concrete, basalt and travertine. In parallel, 706 lin m kerbs has been installed, 235 lin m of stairs has been constructed. The entrance to the park will be adapted for people with locomotor disabilities. It was also reported that the new recreation zone had been completely provided with external lighting and new irrigation systems, as well as with three fountains. In the nearest future the area will be re-furnished. Modern benches, dustbins will be placed, the green areas and lawns will be flowered. The Mayor instructed the persons in charge to keep the process and the quality under permanent control so as it would be finished as scheduled.
