 On September 19 the RA NA President Galust Sahakyan met with the participants of the fifth Armenia-Diaspora conference. The RA NA deputies, the RA Minister of Diaspora Hranush Hakobyan and the Diaspora Armenians, who arrived from different states of the world to take part in the conference, attended the meeting.

The RA NA President Galust Sahakyan welcomed the participants of the conference and firstly congratulated them on the occasion of Independence Day of the Republic of Armenia.

In the RA NA President’s word, the Armenians throughout the world have united around one idea: to condemn the crime perpetrated against the Armenians, to reach the recognition of the Genocide by humanity, as genocide is not only the Armenians' problem, but that of the international community.

The RA NA President expressed hope that not only the Armenians, but foreigners condemning the Armenian Genocide will take part in 2015 events dedicated to the centenary of the Armenian Genocide in Yerevan. During the exchange of thoughts the parliamentarians and the participants of the conference talked and conveyed good wishes to each other. Then the guests took a tour together with the RA NA President Galust Sahakyan and deputies in the parliament and were taken photos in the NA Session Hall.
