Georgian Prime Minister to visit Armenia

 At Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamian’s invitation, Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Garibashvili will pay an official visit to Armenia on August 21-22.

During his stay in our country, the Georgian Prime Minister will meet with President Serzh Sargsyan, National Assembly Speaker Galust Sahakyan, Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan and other senior officials. The two prime ministers’ private talks will be followed by an enlarged meeting.

Irakli Garibashvili will call at Tsitsernakaberd memorial to pay tribute to the victims of the Armenian Genocide. He is also scheduled to visit Matenadaran.

The journalists accredited to the Government of the Republic of Armenia are invited to the Government Press Center on August 21, at 15: 30, where the prime ministers of Armenia and Georgia will make a statement.
