 Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan received the 19 families of Yerevan team won the competition “The best sport family 2014” for the RA President’s Prize. The families with disabled members which participated in this competition for the first time were also among them.
Greeting those present and having thanked them for winning the prize and bringing the cup to Yerevan Taron Margaryan stressed that the Municipality will go on it policy aimed at the development of sport and spreading the healthy lifestyle in the capital.
“The competition for the President’s Prize is an expected event within the scope of which our team has been participating successfully especially in the recent years. Due to you the interest towards healthy lifestyle is increasing. I am sure that our team will go on achieving success in this competition. Be sure that the Municipality of Yerevan will always be next to the sport-loving families and will support them as much as possible”, said Taron Margaryan.
For the best representation of Yerevan at “The best sport family 2014” competition all the families of the Yerevan team were awarded with Yerevan Mayor’s diplomas and souvenirs.
The coaches and persons in charge were also awarded with honorary diplomas of the Mayor.
Expressing gratitude to the Mayor for supporting sport development as well as for permanent attention and appreciation, the sportsmen and their coaches noted that next year they will do their best to bring the winner’s cup to Yerevan again.
At the end of the meeting the RA President’s Cup was handed to the Municipality of Yerevan to be kept till the next competition.
