 On the instruction of Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan asphalting of yard areas, streets and sidewalks is going on in the administrative districts in accordance with the schedule. Thos was reported during the regular working conference in the City Hall. The head of the Department of Building and Improvement reported that 485 thousand sq m of the provided volumes had already been asphalted.
Regarding the process of yard decoration it was reported that the activities had been finished in 19 addresses. Decoration process is going on till October. It was instructed to inventory the blocks of flats where there is danger of falling of facing tiles and include them in this year’s program of improvement.
The process of installing benches and dustbins is going on particularly in the outskirt districts of the capital. The ones installed previously are being refreshed and repaired.
Referring to the conditions of building sites arrangement it was instructed to keep at the focus of attention the cleanness of the area and the process of waste removal by the companies carrying out the construction.
A representative of “Armenian Electric Network” company reported that jointly with the administrative districts, in accordance with the program and by priority order they replace damaged pillars. It was also noted that 186 electricity pillars had already been replaced since the beginning of the program.
The companies engaged in the sphere of life support were instructed to be more attentive and consistent in the organization of infrastructures activities.
The head of the Department of Control reported that within the previous week 183 and 101 phone calls had been received by the hot lines functioning in the corresponding subdivisions of the Municipality and in the staffs of the heads of the administrative districts correspondingly. Totally, 222 issues were solved, other ones are being processed.
With the aim of exclusion the cases of car parking in undetermined places the Road Police was offered to strengthen control and take appropriate measures.
Regarding the events to be held within “Yerevan summer” program initiated by the instruction of Yerevan Mayor from June 1 it was reported that various actions are being organized in the administrative districts which make the everyday life of people spending summer in the capital more interesting. The events are to go on till August 31.
The head of the Department of Foreign Relations reported that within the frames of the official visit of the delegation headed by Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan to the NKR a number of meetings were held with the NKR President, with the Mayor of Stepanakert. A visit to Martouni and Martakert districts were also organized. The heads of the administrative districts had agreements with the districts of the NKR concerning cooperation establishment and expansion. A health and sport cognitive hiking in which about 120 employees of the Municipality and the administrative districts were involved was organized as well.
