Within the frames of the events dedicated to the 69th anniversary of the Great Patriotic War and the 22nd anniversary of Shushi deliberation Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan visited the administrative district of Avan and was present at the festive events.
The Mayor of Yerevan together with the RA NA delegate Robert Sargsyan and the head of the administrative district of Avan Manvel Javadyan and numerous residents of Yerevan put flowers at the memorial to the victims Artsakh war which is placed in the chrchyard of Surb Astvatsatsin church. The Mayor of Yerevan also visited the memorial complex dedicated to the victims of the Great Patriotic War and located in Avan district and rendered the tribute of respect to the soldiers fallen during the Great Patriotic War. According to the tradition, a festive action was organized in the area adjacent to the memorial. Mayor Taron Margaryan watched the action together with numerous residents of Avan.
