 At the course of the session of the Executive Body of the Republican Party of Armenia, the Head of the Republican Party of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan introduced the results of the discussions with the political powers around the Prime Minister’s candidacy. The Speaker of the Republican Party of Armenia Eduard Sharmazanov stated this in a conversation with the journalists after the session of the Executive Body of RPA had finished.
“A session of the Executive Body and Council of the Republican Party of Armenia will be held on April 14, by the results of which the name of the new Prime Minister will be announced,” Eduard Sharmazanov said as reported by Armenpress.
The President of the Republic of Armenia held consultations with the representatives of the factions “Prosperous Armenia”, “Rule of law”, “"Armenian Revolutionary Federation”.
The Speaker of the Republican Party of Armenia noted that it is not correct to say who will be the Prime Minister or whose names are discussed, as long as there is no official point of view by the party.
