 Yerevan Mayor Taron margaryan who is in Paris with the aim of participation in the 33rd General Assembly of International Association of francophone Mayors (AIMF) and the Mayor of Paris, the Presidents of the Association Bertrand Delanoe discussed the issues related to Association and to bilateral cooperation with the capital of France. Stressing the importance of the cooperation existing between the Association and Yerevan, the mayor of Yerevan expressed gratitude for the support shown to the achools of the capital and to the library after Avetik Isahakyan and expressed hope that such programs will be continuous.
Mayor Taron Margaryan highly appreciated the present level of relationship between Yerevan and Paris and expressed willingness to deepen and expand the frames of bilateral cooperation. The mayor of paris bertrand Delanoe as the President of the AIMF first of all greeted the participation of Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan in the activities of the conference and in his turn attached importance to cooperation expansion between Paris and Yerevan. He also assured that as the Mayor of Paris he will do his best to develop the exsisting relationship.
Mayor taron Margaryan also had meetings with the other participants of the Assembly.
