 Within the frames of the working visit of Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan to the capital of the NKR the representatives of the tourism sphere of Yerevan headed by the head of the division of the Department of Culture and Tourism of the Municipality of Yerevan Maria Baraghamyan visited the Department of Tourism and Preservation of Historical Environment adjunct to the Government of the NKR.
Greeting the members of the delegation the head of the Department of Tourism and Preservation of Historical Environment adjunct to the Government of the NKR Sergey Shahverdyan attached particular importance to the mutually beneficial cooperation formed between Yerevan and Stepanakert and stressed that due to the willingness and efforts of the Yerevan party the cooperation is really successful and the results of that cooperation are already visible.
Sergey Shahverdyan expressed confidence that in the nearest future the results would become more noticeable in the sphere of tourism as well.
Expressing gratitude for warm welcome Maria Baraghamyan noted that the Municipality of Yerevan is open and is going to carry out joint projects related to stimulation of tourism in Artsakh.
She also added that they had already made agreements to organize cognitive tourist visits to the Nagorno Karabakh Republic in the nearest future.
