 The number of the well-arranged gardens, parks and recreation zones of the capital has increased by three this year. Complex work was started in spring in "Tigran the Great" park in the 2nd quarter of Nor Nork, in the children's parks in Azatamartiks street in Erebuni district and in the recreation zone adjacent to the blocks of flats N 12-14 in Shirak street in Shengavit district.
In all three gardens large-scale activities have been carried out: refreshment of the earth layer, changing of kerbs where necessary, placement of new benches, bowers, playing attractions and carousels, construction of water basins, landscaping, external lighting installation, decoration of flowered areas, creation of new walkways and repairing of old ones, asphalting of adjacent roads and so on.
New irrigation systems were also installed for this is very important for providing proper care of the gardens. In the children's park in Erebuni district a sports-ground and a football ground were constructed as well. The project has already been finished.
A number of recreation zones and parks have been well-arranged by the projects of the administrative districts of the capital.
