PM Welcomes Georgian Agriculture Minister

Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan received a delegation led by Georgian Minister of Agriculture Shalva Pipia.
“We are keen on strengthening and deepening relations with Georgia and will take steps to achieve specific results,” the Prime Minister stated in his greeting remarks. He pointed to the need of creating a favorable environment for cooperation between business entities and facilitating the exchange of information.
Thankful for reception, Minister Shalva Pipia briefed the Premier on the outcome of the meetings had at the Ministry of Agriculture and the State Revenue Committee of Armenia. The interlocutors went on to discuss cooperation prospects and ways of furthering bilateral ties in agriculture. Reference was made to the turnover of agricultural products between the two countries. Views were exchanged on farming development priorities in Armenia and Georgia, as well as the respective State-supported programs.
In conclusion, Tigran Sargsyan conveyed cordial greetings to his Georgian counterpart.
