 erevan Mayor Taron Margaryan participated in the solemn opening of the administrative building built in the area of the daily water supply regulator of the capital, "Caucasian" water storage reservoir. The honour of solemn opening was given to Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan and the president of the State Water Committee adjunct to the RA Government Andranik Andreasyan.

The “Arabkir”, “Pomper” segments of “West” directory of operation, as well as the segment of trade directory which used to be located in rented areas will function in the administrative district from now on.
Taron Margaryan accompanied by the First Deputy Mayor Kamo Areyan and the director of “Yerevan Jur” CJSC Gor Grigoryan walked about the building and familiarized himself with the facilities. The first floor of the two-storey building includes the vehicle repair base, other engineering structures and so on. The offices are on the second floor.
The persons in charge assured the Mayor that the programs directed at water supply improvement will be continuing. Within the frames of the program of reconstruction and development of the waters supply of Yerevan, the duration of water supply in the capital has already been prolonged, the volumes of water taking from wells have decreased, the prices for services have been deflated. Presenting the further plans to Mayor Taron Margaryan Gor Grigoryan said that as a part of the system successfulness “Yerevan Jur” will go on the process of gathering its subdivisions in their own areas. In the nearest future a new area will be provided for “Mashtots” branch of “East” directory which serves the administrative districts of Ajapnyak and Davtashen.
The process of the programs being implemented with the aim of water supply quality increase is under direct supervision of the mayor. Stressing the importance of water supply quality in the capital Taron Margaryan said that systematic work should be carried out to improve the common situation with water supply so that in the future 24-hour water supply will be ensured throughout Yerevan.
Answering the questions of the journalists, the First Deputy Mayor Kamo Areyan said, "This building and the staff are aimed at one main goal-to improve the quality of water supply required by the population. The requirement includes a determined schedule, water of good quality, reduction of emergency situations and water loss, operation costs saving. And the Mayor of Yerevan as the person empowered by the Government, will do everything to support further development programs of “Yerevan Jur” company", stressed Kamo Areyan.
