 Mayor Taron Margaryan was present at the solemn ceremony of closing the international cycling tournament “Grand Prix of Yerevan” dedicated to the 22nd anniversary of the RA Independence and to the international Day of Peace which was organized at the cycling track in Yerevan.
The international sport event held by the initiative of the Municipality of Yerevan was organized in Yerevan for the first time.
The competition between the sportsmen from Armenia, Georgia and Iran was finished with the victory of the Armenian competitor.
The sportsmen occupied got the best three places were congratulated, awarded and handed the cups by Mayor Taron Margaryan.
Within the frames of the tournament the Yerevan representative of the international organization “Peace movement” expressed gratitude for the support in concord and peace movement and awarded Mayor Taron Margaryaan with the title of “Honorary member” of Armenia in the international movement MasterPeace.
Within the frames of the ceremony the final races were followed by the performances of dance groups.
