 On a working visit to China, Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan met today with Dalian Mayor Li Wancai.

Welcoming Tigran Sargsyan to Dalian, Li Wancai expressed the hope that the current visit will promote bilateral exchanges to open up new development prospects.

Thankful for a warm welcome, the Prime Minister stated in part, “The relations between our two countries are at a high level and we have no problems whatsoever, except for the economic ties which still need strengthening. There are lots of opportunities and a vast potential to implement joint projects in the field of information technologies, chemical industry and tourism.”

Li Wancai was invited to come to Armenia and visit Gyumri with a view to developing cooperation programs between Dalian and Gyumri, which has built up a serious IT capacity.
