 Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan met today with China Communication Construction CEO Wang Zijhun in Dalian city who briefed the Premier on the activities of his company.

Specialized in road construction, the company handles road design, construction and maintenance projects and is the tenth leading entity in the world. Assuring of their interest in getting involved in Armenia, the Executive Director said his company has already developed a number of proposals to be submitted to the Government of Armenia for consideration.

Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan next met with the representatives of Inspur Company, which designs and manufactures supercomputers, develops IT applications for education and industrial design.

Company vice president Zhang Dong said they are ready to cooperate with our country, because they know about Armenia’s achievements in the IT sector, and there is great potential for development and cooperation.

Prime Minister Sargsyan advised that the IT sector is a government priority and that Armenia founded a representation in Silicon Valley last year, based on the principle of public-private partnership. The head of government spoke about the benefits of the recently opened free economic zone, which has a well-pronounced bias for IT companies.
