The project called "Bank of books-a donation pavilion" has been over

Among the final events dedicated to "Yerevan-World Book Capital" the Youth Committee of the Urban Development Council adjunct to the Mayor of Yerevan jointly with “Flashmob Divisia” youth NGO initiated the project called "Bank of books-a donation pavilion".
With the support of the Municipality of Yerevan a pavilion was placed in North avenue in the capital and the actions started in April was over on August 31.
Due to this action the residents donated over 6000 volumes of fiction and popular literature. According to the project about 3000 books were sent to the libraries of the RA, 1000 ones to the NKR community libraries, 2000 books were sent to the RA military units.
This project initiated by the Municipality of Yerevan will be long lasting and become a nice tradition. The aim of the idea is to spread the culture of presenting books and assist in libraries development.
