 Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan hosted 12 families from Yerevan participated in the republican stage of the annual competition for the Prize of the President of the RA “Best sport family”.
Greeting the guests Taron Margaryan first of all thanked them for brave participation, splendid victory and representation of Yerevan in a best way, and stressed that today the Municipality has adopted the policy of making the sport life in the capital more active.
«Our aim is to spread the idea of physical education among population, to popularize sport promoting the idea of healthy lifestyle. I am sure that in the future the children growing up in these families will uphold the honour of Yerevan and its residents . With your example the number of the families going in for sports and livinf in a healthy lifestyle will increase», said the Mayor assuring that the Municipality of Yerevan is willing to be always beside the families upholding the honour of the capital.
For upholding the sport honour of the capital and best representation of Yerevan at the Republican competition "Best sport family 2013" for the Prize of the RA President Yaerevan mayor Taron Margaryan awarded the families with thanksgiving diplomas and souvenirs.
At the end of the meeting the RA President Cup given to the Yerevan team for absolute victory was handed for keeping to the Municipality of Yerevan.
