 Within the frames of the regular working visit to Erebuni district Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan together with the residents of the district solemnly opened the yards at Artsakh 10 and 18. The Mayor walked about the yards, familiarized himself with the work done, talked with the residents. The yard areas remained neglected for years have completed today the list of well-arranged yards.
These recreation zones equipped with nice bowers, benches, children's playgrounds, a football ground have become a desired and expected present for the residents and they expressed their gratitude to the Mayor.
Taron Margaryan presenting this year's programs of the Municipality of Yerevan and his approaches assured that the programs of yard improvement initiated by the Municipality will be continuous. "Complex yard improvement is going on in all the administrative districts of Yerevan. This year only in Erebuni district the improvement of areas, equipment of playgrounds and sport-grounds has been fulfilled and is being fulfilled in 50 big and small yards. In the nearest future we will open well-arranged yards in Kanaker Zeitun, Davtashen and Shengavit districts. I hope that by the beginning of November yard improvement activities scheduled for this year will be over. I assure you that this program will be long-lasting and as a result in few years there will be no badly-arranged yards in Yerevan", stressed the Mayor.
Various programs and events directed at spreading the idea of healthy lifestyle are also among the priorities of the activity of Mayor Taron Margaryan and in the programs of yard improvement special attention is paid to construction of small football grounds and increasing of sport equipment.
"To make the sport life in the capital more active, to stimulate healthy lifestyle and to spread make football more popular we will try to construct football grounds and install sport equipment where possible. By the way, this year we have constructed 18 football grounds and within the previous three years we constructed 60 convenient football grounds in the capital", said Taron Margaryan.
The opening of the current expected yard in Erebuni district was in the area adjacent to the 1st lane of Azatamartikneri street consisted of private houses. A new square was constructed in the area of 6000 sq m.
Expressing gratitude to the Mayor for making the capital more and more comfortable day by day the residents of the quarter said that this newly-created recreation zone used to be abandoned and neglected for tens of years. And today only within a few months all necessary conditions have been created for the residents.
Within the frames of the improvement of the area decorative concrete tiles and kerbs were placed, a small fountain complex was constructed. To organize proper recreation of the residents the area has been completed with benches open and close bowers, new external lighting and irrigation systems have been installed. The recreation zone has been decorated with flower compositions.
Within the frames of the visit Mayor Taron Margaryan also visited the quarters of Vardashen and Mushakan where in the context of proportional development of the capital complex activities had been accomplished within the program of yard improvement of this year.
