46 gifted pupils from Yerevan have left for Bucharest

 By the initiative of Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan 46 pupils from Yerevan schools who have excellent progress in the spheres of education, culture and sport have left for students' camp Yerevan-Bucharest. Before seeing off the pupils to Bucharest the Chief Adviser to the Mayor of Yerevan Vano Vardanyan and the head of the Department of General Education Gayane Soghomonyan hosted them in the City Hall and wished them a happy trip.
During the seven-day camp the Armenian pupils will participate in cultural, sport and other meаsures together with their Romanian coevals.
"We have chosen gifted children who speaks excellent English and can represent with honour the Armenian culture, national values in the foreign country. The pupils from Yerevan have left for Bucharest to have a rest and to participate in a special cultural program so that the camp would be mutually cognitive and the Armenian and Romanian coevals would familiarize each other with the culture of their countries", said the head of the Department of General Education of the Municipality of Yerevan Gayane Soghomonyan.
The pupils have taken with them souvenirs symbolizing Armenia and Artsakh.
On the days of Yerevan-Bucharest camp the pupils from Yerevan are going to have a rest in another seaside city in Romania, in Costinesti.
The agreement to organize Yerevan-Bucharest students’ camp was made during the meeting of the mayors of Yerevan and Bucharest and is fulfilled by the financing of the municipalities of the two cities.
