On April 2 the RA NA Standing Committee on Health Care, Maternity and Childhood moderated by Ara Babloyan in the first reading debated the package of RA draft laws “On Encouragement of Children’s Breastfeeding and Turnover of Children’s Food,” “On Amending the RA Labor Code,” “On Amending the RA Law on Organization and Holding of RA Check-ups,” “On Amending the RA Law on Protection of Consumers’ Rights,” “On Amending the RA Law on Human Reproductive Health and Reproductive Rights,” “On Amending the RA Code on Administrative Infringements,” “On Amending the RA Law on Commercial.”

Ara Babloyan noted that numerous proposals on the draft laws had been received from the government, NGOs and consumers and they had been debated one by one.

The deputies in the second reading also debated the package of the RA draft laws “On Amending the RA Law on Psychiatric Aid” and “On Amending the RA Law on Advocacy.”

The Committee endorsed the bills to include them in the agenda of the NA April 8-11 four-day sittings.
