Taron Margaryan had a meeting with the delegation of the OSCE observers

 The issues related to the organization of the coming presidential elections in the RA were discussed during the meeting of Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan with the members of the delegation of the OSCE long-term observers.
Greeting the guests the Mayor stressed the importance of the cooperation of the Municipality of Yerevan with international organizations including the cooperation with the OSCE within the scope of which a number of joint projects in different spheres of urban economy had been realized. Taron Margaryan highly appreciated the mission of the organization in pre-election and election processes.
"The city authorities are ready to organize proper presidential elections within the powers delegated them by law and to ensure equal conditions for all the candidates. Certain steps have been taken towards constructing tracks for wheelchairs and providing proper conditions for people with disabilities in polling places", said Taron Margaryan.
The Mayor also mentioned that within the election campaign the Municipality, within the powers given by the RA law to the bodies of self-government has already placed 715 free noticeboards in different parts of the capital to stick the propaganda posters of the candidates. Besides, Taron Margaryan noted that 33 assembly halls have been provided which are to be given to candidates free of charge to arrange the meetings with electors.
The members of the delegation of the OSCE long-term observers having thanked the Mayor for the reception and greeting the actions taken by the Municipality said that at the end of their mission the results are to be summarized and a corresponding records is to be drawn up which is to be presented to public.
Taron Margaryan stressed that the Municipality will be consistent so that all the necessary activities would be arranged on proper level in all the 12 administrative districts.
