Mayor Taron Margaryan had a meeting with the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic

 The issues related to experience exchange in the sphere of urban economy management and to the development of investment field were discussed during the meeting of Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan with the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic Thomas Dub.
Welcoming the idea of holding the Armenian-Czech business Forum in Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan said that this fact proves once again the high level of Armenian-Czech relationship and states that there is big potential for developing cooperation between the cities of the two countries.
Referring to the cooperation in the sphere of local self-government Taron Margaryan said that Yerevan is interested in establishment of partnership with the cities of the Czech Republic. "The Municipality of Yerevan is open and willing to develop mutually beneficial cooperation. There are a number of spheres where we can cooperate in all the directions of urban economy management and I am sure that this cooperation will be efficient for both parties. In this issue we expect your support", noted Taron Margaryan adding that business ties had already been established between the Chambers of Commerce of Armenia and the Czech Republic.
Expressing gratitude for warm welcome the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic in his turn stressed the importance of mutually beneficial cooperation. "We have already established inter-governmental ties in a number of directions and I am sure that the relationship between Yerevan and the Czech cities will also be viable. We have rich experience in public transport, water constructions management and in a number of other fields and I think these directions can become a part of cooperation in experience exchange", said Thomas Dub.
During the meeting the parties also discussed some other issues of mutual interest.
