A memorandum on Cooperation has been signed between the Municipality of Yerevan and "Ucom" company

The cooperation existing within the framework of the reforms directed at the improvement of urban economy management as well as the possibilities of its expansion between the Municipality of Yerevan and the private sector were discussed during the meeting of Yerevan mayor Taron Margaryan with the leadership of "Ucom" company.
"It's noteworthy that the first project carried out as a result of the cooperation between the Municipality of Yerevan and the "Ucom" company has been a success. Re-equipment of schools with new technologies and the availability of the internet are demands of the time. I am confident that the cooperation will be long-lasting" said Taron Margaryan.
Presenting the policy of proportional development of the capital the Mayor pointed out the expansion of the program of supplying the most lively parts of the administrative districts such as gardens and parks with free Internet.
"In our programs for 2013 we have provided to found new parks and to provide the Internet coverage in such places due to Wi-Fi systems taking into account the proposals and wishes of the population", said Taron Margaryan.
Expressing gratitude for warm reception the General Manager of "Ucom" Hayk Yesayan noted that due to the Municipality support the company expects implementation of new joint programs.
"We are ready to make new investments in the capital which will both promote development of the capital and make the life of the population more comfortable", said Hayk Yesayan.
To expand cooperation, to form new level of communication between the schoolchildren and teachers of Diaspora and Yerevan, to carry out experience exchange as well as other joint programs the Mayor of Yerevan Taron Margaryan and the General Manager of "Ucom" Hayk Yesayan signed a Cooperation Memorandum according to which the company will make corresponding investment in another 15 schools in the capital to provide technically equipped classrooms.
