  The Municipality of Yerevan jointly with the RA Ministry of Agriculture organized another fair of agricultural products which is be held every Saturday and Sunday from this time on in the segment of Agatangeghos and Tigran Metsstreets of Khorenatsi street.Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan together with the RA Minister of Agriculture Sergo Karapetyan walked about the spot and got acquainted with the conditions at the market, talked with the sellers, as well as with the customers. Likewise the similar market in Arabkir district the areas were given to the producers of agricultural products free of charge by the Municipality and the Ministry of Agriculture provided the sellers with pavilions, tents, scales and strollers.Responding to the questions of the journalists Mayor Taron Margaryan pointed out that in case of necessity corresponding actions will be taken jointly with the Ministry of Agriculture towards increasing the number of places provided for arrangement of agricultural fairs. The Mayor also added that this fair arranged in the administrative district of Kentron was the respond of the city authorities to the residents’ request.“Last year we promised our residents to allocate in Yerevan new places for agricultural fair in case of need. If the residents of other administrative districts have such a demand the Municipality is ready to allocate new areas”, said Taron Margaryan.Attaching importance to having such agricultural markets in the capital, the Mayor also stressed that due to such markets the farmers have a good opportunity to carry out direct sales and thus the residents of Yerevan will be provided with more available agricultural products.After getting acquainted with the market performance Mayor Taron Margaryan had an inspection visit in the area of Circle park and got acquainted with the improvement and landscaping activities which had already been carried out here and were still going on.Talking with the residents and hearing out to their proposals the Mayor on spot instructed to replace the old benches of the park with new ones, as well as to place dustbins and ensure permanent watching the improvement and the care of the park.Taron Margaryan also instructed to ensure tight control over meeting their obligations by the entities regarding improvement and landscaping of the public areas adjacent to their objects.
