On July 24 Sergey Narishkin, Speaker of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation and members of the Delegation led by him, being in Armenia on two-day visit at the invitation of the RA NA President Hovik Abrahamyan, visited Tsitsernakaberd and laid a wreath and flowers at the monument of 1915 Armenian Genocide victims, paid tribute in silence the memory of one and a half million innocent victims, accompanied with RA NA Vice President Eduard Sharmazanov.

The high-ranking guest has been in the Armenian Genocide Museum, got acquainted with the documents ensuring the Armenian Genocide and took notes in the Commemoration Book. The Speaker of the RF Federal Assembly State Duma planted a fir-tree in the "Memory Alley."
