Today, the newly appointed Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran Mohammed Reisi presented his credentials to President Serzh Sargsyan.

The President congratulated the Ambassador on the commencement of his diplomatic mission in our country and expressed hope that during his tenure he will work toward the further strengthening of the Armenian-Iranian relations and deepening of the multifaceted cooperation in different areas.

Ambassador Reisi noted that Iran attaches great importance to the deepening of its relations with Armenia and assured that he would do his best to further relations between Armenia and Iran.

President Serzh Sargsyan and the Ambassador of Iran discussed issues pertinent to the bilateral political, economic, and cultural cooperation as well as issues related to regional developments.
