The regular meeting of the Council of Elders took place

At the meeting of the Council of Elders held on May 30, before starting to discuss the items on the agenda, Mayor Taron Margaryan informed that the members of the Council elected by the election list of "The Armenian National Congress" alliance presented their resignation from the Council membership. These members are Lyudmila Sargsyan, Levon Zurabyan, Stepan Demirchyan, Hrant Bagratyan and Khachatur Kokobelyan. On the ground of being assigned heads of Achapnyak and Davtashen administrative districts of Yerevan their resignation also submitted Ruslan Baghdasaryan and Artavazd Sargsyan who were elected by the election list of the Republican Party. Taron Margaryan noted that the records on the resignations together with the copies of the submitted applications will be presented by the RA CEC.Turning to the items on the agenda the Council approved by unanimous voting for the directions of distributing net profits arouse as a result of 2011 annual activity of the closed joint stock companies considered to be property of Yerevan community which have more than 50 % share and the draft decision on confirmation the amount of dividends to be paid to the budget of Yerevan. The decision confirmed the directions of distribution the net profits arouse as a result of 2011 annual activity of the CJS companies which are considered property of Yerevan community and have 50% shares and the amounts of dividends to be paid to the budget of Yerevan.
By the decision of the Council it was permitted to carry out a pilot program (experimental) in the capital: to pass the powers of registration of waste removal fee payers, to calculate the waste removal fee, as well as to collect this fee to the community budget or to extra-budgetary accounts to the company chosen according to the RA law "On Purchases" till December 31 2012.By the other items on the agenda the Council approved the draft decisions on gratuitous alienation of the flats considered to be of Yerevan community property, on renaming a number of commercial organization and approving the new edition of their regulations, as well as on renaming one of the streets of the capital after Grigor Harutyunyan.
It was decided to convene the next regular meeting on June 26 2012.
