Your Excellency, I was deeply saddened by the news of the tragic accident that happened at RPA meeting on May 4, leaving people injured.

Accept my sympathy and willingness to assist in overcoming the consequences of that accident. We pray for the victims and express our support to their families and relatives.

Despite that bitter incident, your political party scored an excellent victory in the elections. Moreover, the parliamentary elections of 6 May 2012 held in the Republic of Armenia were mainly free and fair. They were conducted with an improved legislation and ahead of the Election Day were organized professionally and in the atmosphere of transparency.
Taking the opportunity, I would like to cordially congratulate you.

I congratulate you for your efforts that contributed to this result.

However, there still exists framework for the improvement of democratic processes in the Republic of Armenia since there were certain problems in relation to the application of new rules on the day of the elections.

So I would like to encourage you, your government and the Republican Party of Armenia to maintain improving the electoral process, therefore, to improve the state of democracy in the country.
