The main guide of the Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) for development of Armenia's communities is the program on "Balanced Territorial Development", which is a priority for country's development, Leader of Republican Party of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan said during a meeting with residents of Aparan town in frame of the election campaign, Armenpress reports.

"This occupies a primary place on our agenda. We carry out works in the direction of proportionate development of Yerevan and provinces. They must get the same and balanced opportunities of providing of social services," said Serzh Sargsyan, stressing that Armenia has entered into a stage of rapid changes, thanks to which we will set right the systemic flaws.

"We are on the half of the way and have not overcome the poverty fully, the corruption, too, is not fully eliminated yet. It can be described as a cancer, against which we will apply "surgical" interference for full elimination," said RPA Leader.

After the speech, in the Central Square of Aparan Serzh Sargsyan put a wreath on the monument of Tigran Petrosyan, 9th champion of the World Chess Championship.

Wrapping up the meeting with the residents of Aparan, RPA Chairman visited Kuchak community, where he talked to farmers, familiarized himself with the issues exciting them.
