 Within the scope of the working inspection to the administrative district of Malatia Sebastia Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan got acquainted with the process of improvement activities carried out by the Municipality annual program.In the yard area of Kurghinyan lane kerbs have already been changed, alleys have already been paved, benches have been placed. The responsible persons of the administrative districts reported the Mayor that the working process is coming to its end and in the nearest future the residents will have a new yard which will become a comfortable recreation zone.The resident expressed their delight to the Mayor pointing out that they had been waiting long for having a playground for their children and a recreation zone and today their dream has come true. So they expressed special gratitude to Taron Margaryan for this.The same words of delight sounded in A3 quarter where at the time of the Mayor’s visit improvement of another yard was going on. It notable that the residents of Malatia Sebastia also responded to the urge of Mayor Taron Margaryan. Here almost all the new yard areas are constructed in the places of previously illegally occupied "kitchen gardens".As a result the residents will soon spend their leisure in their yard turned into a comfortable recreation zone provided with bowers, benches, modern playing attractions for children, external lighting."As in all the administrative districts, large-scale yard improvement activities are going in Malatia Sebastia. I’d like to mention particularly that in this administrative district the residents by their own efforts freed the areas illegally occupied by them and we are grateful them for this. Our programs for yard improvement will be continuous and I assure you that after a while all the yard areas of Malatia Sebastia district will be well-arranged", stressed Taron Margaryan.The Mayor talked with the residents, heard out their opinions, the raised problems and presented his approaches. Taron Margaryan stressed that within the "Improved Yerevan" program initiated by the Municipality all the yard areas of Yerevan will be improved.Taron Margaryan was also introduced the process of complex improvement activities in the yards of B1, B3 and A1 quarters. The responsible persons reported that in parallel with the yard areas improvement roof repairing, asphalting and landscaping activities are being carried out in the district.Within the scope of the visit the Mayor visited the "Malatia" Medical Center where he inquired about the health of the patients and got acquainted with the conditions of the center’s building and with the imported medical facilities.After the visit Mayor Taron Margaryan convened a working conference with the staff of the administrative district during which he once again stressed that all the provisions of the Municipality programs are directed at making the capital more comfortable and attractive. In this context it was instructed to exercise everyday control over the process and the quality of the improvement and landscaping being carried out in the administrative district.
