Today on May 10th “Health Organizers' Union” NGO arranged a conference called “Available and Quality Healthcare”. The conference was hosted by the member of RPA Executive Body, YSMU rector and co-chair of the NGO Mr. Derenik Dumanyan. The event was attended by RPA Deputy Chairman, RA NA member Hovik Abrahamyan, RPA Executive Body member, Chairman of RPA Youth Organization, RA NA member Karen Avagyan, RPA Executive Body member, Chairman of RPA Women Council, RA NA member Hermine Naghdalyan, RPA Council member, RA NA member and co-chair of “Health Organizers' Union” NGO Ara Babloyan, the NGO's co-chair Ara Minasyan, other members of the organization, doctors and guests.
The first speech was held by the “Health Organizers' Union” executive director Mr. Smbat Daghbashyan, who introduced the NGO's activities, its achievements and future plans. He also noted that the NGO's approaches are very much common to those of the Republican Party and that “Health Organizers' Union” closely focuses on the party's projects.
“Health Organizers' Union” NGO with its 20 thousand members is the most representative structure in the Armenian healthcare system and includes eminent doctors, leading specialists and young health professionals. The organization has been actively involved in healthcare processes implemented in our country over the last five years. It remains committed to its mission and objectives, which are the development of health sector, quality healthcare for the Armenian population, available health services, greater involvement in the healthcare management, organization and financing, development and implementation of modern economic tools, norms and standards. All its projects are lengthy and are aimed at health protecting.
Based on these facts and considering that RPA in its election program envisages reforms in healthcare system, which are similar to the approaches and projects of “Health Organizers' Union”, RPA announced that in 2012 Parliamentary Elections the organization supports the Republican Party of Armenia and calls upon all its members and supporters to cast their votes in favor of the RPA.
