"Business Woman" expo-exhibition kicked off today on March 31st in the lobby of Yerevan City Hall. The event was organized by RPA Women Council supported by Yerevan Municipality and "Expo-Media" organization.
The opening ceremony was attended by the head of RPA parliamentary faction Galust Sahakyan, Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan, Chairman of RA NA Standing Committee on State and Legal Affairs Davit Harutyunyan, member of RPA faction, chairman of RPA Women Council Hermine Naghdalyan, RPA faction members Karine Achemyan and Mkrtich Minasian, business women and guests.
In her speech, the Chairman of RPA Women Council Hermine Naghdalyan noted that the exhibition had been organized for the 11-th time already and that over the past 5 years it had been supported by RPA Women Council. “The spring exhibition will better feature those women who are more experienced in career and represent commercial business. While the autumn exhibition, which will also be held under "Business Woman" title, will be dedicated to those women who are just starting their way in business and who are engaged in craft restoration", said Hermine Naghdalyan.
The Mayor of Yerevan Taron Margaryan noted that the municipality doors are always open for such events. He also noted that for two years the event had been held at the City Hall, and that this became a good tradition. "As a team we are ready to assist women entrepreneurs, and the municipality doors are always open for such events. I am convinced that business women, using the resources of our municipality, will be able to further strengthen and develop their careers," said Taron Margaryan.
Later guests visited the exhibition hall to reveal displayed produce. The closing ceremony will be held on 1st April at 16:00.
