Low-Income Families to Get Additional Support
A regular Cabinet meeting was held today, chaired by Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan. According to data available from the Public Services Regulatory Commission, the average monthly rate of electricity consumed by households is about 202 kilowatt/hours. August 1, 2016 is the deadline set for the Government and Tashir company-funded subsidy, after which the population will have to pay 4.32 drams more for each kilowatt/hour; which means extra 1000 drams to be paid for 202 kW of electricity.... more →

Prime Minister Visits Tavush Marz
Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan paid a working visit to Tavush Marz of Armenia. The Prime Minister first visited Azatamout community, where he was briefed on the pace of the ongoing kindergarten reconstruction activities. Note that the Armenia Regional Development Fund has invested AMD182 million, while the community has contributed AMD6.5 million to the project. Interior decorations are being implemented currently.
