Prime Minister Travels to Gegharkunik Marz
Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan paid a working visit to Gegharkunik Marz of Armenia, The Premier first called at Karchahpyur village to get familiar with fish farm development and Lake Sevan trout populations rehabilitation program activities. In particular, Hovik Abrahamyan was shown five sizeable fishing nets, into which 32 tons of fish fry had been released. RPA Women’s Council held a meeting with members of RPA Sisian Women’s Council
The Chairman of RPA Women’s Council, the NA Vice-Speaker H. Naghdalyan visited RPA Sisian regional office, held a meeting with active members of the council. The issue of trade regulation in the area of “Vernissage” will be taken under more rigid control
During the weekly working meeting in the City Hall Mayor Taron Margaryan was reported that as a result of the activities carried out the previous week to prevent illegal construction and land occupation 8 cases had been revealed and administrative protocols had been drawn up; at two addresses the illegal constructions had been dismantled. Low-Income Families to Get Additional Support
A regular Cabinet meeting was held today, chaired by Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan. According to data available from the Public Services Regulatory Commission, the average monthly rate of electricity consumed by households is about 202 kilowatt/hours. August 1, 2016 is the deadline set for the Government and Tashir company-funded subsidy, after which the population will have to pay 4.32 drams more for each kilowatt/hour; which means extra 1000 drams to be paid for 202 kW of electricity.... more →
