Government Supports Land Users
A Cabinet sitting was held today, chaired by Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan. Before proceeding to the agenda, the Prime Minister referred to a number of issues voiced at yesterday’s National Assembly sitting. (See separately). New Export, Job-Oriented Investment Programs Introduced To PM
Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan visited today Yerevan Beer CJSC. Accompanied by Minister of Economy Tigran Davtyan and the representatives of the company, the Prime Minister walked round the workshops getting acquainted with the production processes. Exports were said to have increased 2.3 times over the past three years owing to a number of investment programs. Luys Foundation Activity Discussed
Chaired by Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan, the educational board of Luys Foundation met in the Office of Government to discuss ongoing and future activities. Luys Foundation training program director Jacqueline Karaaslanyan introduced the proposed changes to the by-laws, as well as some community-related statistics. On February 1 the Standing Committee on State and Legal Affairs of the RA National Assembly moderated by Davit Harutyunyan debated and endorsed a number of bills for including them in the draft laws of the NA session, as well as of the upcoming four-day sittings agenda. NA Working Consultation is Held
On February 1 the RA NA working consultation presided over by the Vice President of the National Assembly Eduard Sharmazanov was held. Scientific Council Holds Meeting
Chaired by Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan, the Scientific Council met in the Office of Government. The first agenda item was the seismic stability of residential buildings. It was noted that the Town Hall of Yerevan has imposed a ban on the construction of attic facilities by citizens.
