The final events dedicated to declaration Yerevan World Book Capital will take place on April 20
The Adviser to the Mayor of Yerevan Aram Sukiasyan presented the program of the final events dedicated to declaration Yerevan World Book Capital by the UNESCO. Yerevan schoolchildren visited the monuments to the people after whom their schools are named
Today pupils of the schools subordinated to the Municipality of Yerevan visited the monuments of the honoured people after whom their schools had been named. On the event of the Day of Protection of Monuments the schoolchildren spent a lesson cleaning the areas of the monuments, then put flowers at the monuments of prominent figures. A special meeting of the Council of Elders of Yerevan has taken place
