Government Set For State Budget Bill Debate
A Cabinet sitting was held today, chaired by Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan. The Government took note of the Ministry of Finance-submitted preliminary draft budget for 2014. Within a week’s time, the heads of public agencies will have to submit proposals to the Ministry of Finance concerning the initial version of the Bill. Yerevan is furnished with new guide signs
Within the frames of the activities directed at external look formation the Municipality of Yerevan furnished some central streets and squares with new guide signs. The guide signs written in Armenian and English give the opportunity to the townspeople and the guests to orientate in the capital more easily. Parliament Ends the Work of the Four-Day Sitting
On September 12 the National Assembly continued the work of the four-day sitting and by voting in the first reading passed the bill “On Amending the RA Code on Administrative Infringements.” Then the deputies continued to debate the issue of the election of the two lawyer-scientists of the RA Justice Council. The statue of Hrant Matevosyan has been opened
By the initiative of the Mayor of Yerevan a statue of the prominent Armenian writer and publicist Hrant Matevosyan was opened in the yard of the school bearing his name. The honour of the solemn opening of the statue was given to Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan and the son of Hrant Matevosyan David Matevosyan. On September 11, the Armenian commodities pavilion was opened at the Global Commodity Purchasing Center In Taizhou city of PRC Province of Jiangsu.
