Jubilee Events Due On Hovhannes Shiraz Birth 100th Anniversary
April 27 is the birthday of Hovhannes Shiraz – the great Armenian poet would have marked his 100th anniversary, if alive. President watched retrospective exposition of well-known Italian artist Bruno Bruni’s works
Today, President Serzh Sargsyan watched the retrospective exposition of the well-known Italian artist Bruno Bruni’s works at the National Gallery of Armenia. The exposition affords Armenian art lovers a great opportunity to familiarize with the Italian modern art. A memorial complex commemorating the victims of the Armenian Genocide opened in Almelo, Holland
On the event of the 99th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide a memorial complex commemorating the 1,5 million of innocent victims was unveiled in the city of Almelo, Netherlands. The construction of the unique memorial complex started in 2013 The memorial built in the land owned by the Armenian Apostolic Church, was created in accordance with the architectural style of Armenian churches. 16 khachkars (memorial cross-stones) were made of tufa brought from Armenia.
